Video Tour

Perched along a ridge near open space preserves, this 3,411 sq ft Tiburon home boasts unrivaled views of the San Francisco Bay, including spans of the Golden Gate Bridge, skyline of San Francisco, Angel Island, Richardson Bay, Raccoon Strait, and Mt Tam. Spectacular terraced gardens lovingly designed by the home’s Master Gardner owner create magical spaces from which to enjoy these views and provide enchanted vistas from inside.  In addition to framing incredible views, renowned builder Werner Schneider’s remodel in 1993 blended bright sunny spaces with seamless indoor/outdoor flow to give this home a greater connection to its enviable location.  The 4 Bedroom / 3 1/2 Bath home has 2 master suites, a chef’s kitchen with high end appliances, hardwood floors, high ceilings, skylights, fireplaces, and built-in shelving throughout the home.

What We Love

Our home has been a place of joy, laughter, love, and celebration for our family and friends for over 25 years. The list of what we love about our home is endless, but here are a few of our favorite things:

  • The spectacular and ever-changing Golden Gate Bridge, Mt. Tamalpais, San Francisco, and bay views.
  • The sparking lights of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge at night.
  • Listening to the foghorns as the fog creeps over the Marin hills and envelopes the City.
  • Watching rainstorms roll in during the winter, cozied up in front of the fireplace.
  • Eating dinner and enjoying the brilliant sunsets that turn the sky vibrant shades of red, yellow, purple and orange.
  • Relaxing in the breakfast nook window seat, watching raptors soar through the air.
  • The quiet and total privacy.
  • Tracing the daily and seasonal path of the sun, and how the light changes in the house over the course of a day or year.
  • The spectacular, old world gardens where each step takes you on a journey of delight. This garden has been lovingly built, tilled and planted with seasonal surprises, hidden garden paths and breathtaking beauty.
  • Cocktails at the top of the "mountain goat" trail in the garden, enjoying the breeze and watching fireworks.
  • Parties on the deck overlooking the amazing views.
  • The number of excellent hiding places for wild Hide-and-Go-Seek games.
  • Reading a book, tucked into the welcoming arms of the old Toyon tree on a lazy afternoon.
  • Listening to the splashing sounds of the garden ponds.
  • The wonderful cook’s kitchen that adapts to one person or a crowd.
  • From the kitchen sink, watching the sunset or the hummingbirds build their nest in the maple by the front door.
  • Seeing the dogwoods come into bloom from the bed in the upstairs master bedroom.
  • From the downstairs master bedroom, watching the quail families buzz along the patio amidst the roses and cherry trees.
  • The roll-up garage door to the back patio that provides easy access to the backyard.
  • The 15 minute walk down hillside footpaths to the Tiburon ferry and downtown.
  • The proximity to great hiking and dog walking in Old St. Hilary’s Open Space Preserve and Tiburon Uplands Preserve. The amazing views of three bridges from the top of the ridge.
  • The graciousness, tranquility and rich beauty that envelops you the moment you walk through the front gate.

Floor/Site Plan

Tiburon’s waterfront location makes it a prime destination for Marin County homebuyers. For a town of less than 10,000 residents, Tiburon offers a variety of activities that belies its small size. The annual Tiburon International Film Festival brings films from around the world. Residents enjoy shopping in the elegant boutiques along Ark Row, a leafy, block-long enclave of tiny shops that were once floating arks, and dining at the excellent restaurants along Main Street. For the nautically inclined, Tiburon's Corinthian Yacht Club hosts races on the bay. Ferries to San Francisco and Angel Island State Park leave from the dock at Tiburon. Tiburon's parks are strung out like pearls on a necklace along the water’s edge. Blackie's Pasture, named after an old swaybacked horse that once lived here, is a popular spot for hikers, joggers, bikers, moms with strollers, and dog walkers. On weekends, the parks fill up with soccer players of all ages.
